Welcome to Fellowship Church of the Brethren! We are a family church that works to blend the contemporary with the traditional. Although we would be considered a "small" church, we do not allow that to limit the ways that we serve in our community and throughout our world.
We believe in one God in three parts, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We baptize believers, anoint with oil for healing and celebrate the Lord's Supper by gathering around the communion table for the Agape Meal, the washing of feet and the receiving of the bread and cup. We are a part of the Church of the Brethren which brings with it the historic and living peace church tradition.
Everyone is welcome at Fellowship. Although we believe that sin is sin, we seek to exhibit the grace that has been shown to us by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Come as you are, but come prepared to be transformed by the One who created you in his image.
We are currently on a 31 week journey through the book, The Story. The Story is an adaptation of the Bible, sort of a Readers Digest version that allows us to read through as a novel. Because every detail is not there to get bogged down in, we are able to focus more on the stories that have been selected and notice things that we have never noticed before. So far, it has been a wonderful adventure. Studies are lead on Wednesday evening at 6:30 and during Sunday School at 9:30 am in the sanctuary. Pastor Doug also preaches from the current chapter each week. It is not too late to join us on this adventure.
